John Scarangella
Executive Chef
Chef John’s career began in New York where he spent over 15 years in successful and well reviewed fine dining restaurants. In 2008, he moved to Raleigh to assume the position of Executive Chef at one of Raleigh’s highest reviewed restaurants, Saint Jacques French Cuisine.
Five years later, Chef John joined the Village Grill, and has helped build and refine the menu to become a North Raleigh staple amongst the locals. Northside Bistro is the latest vision of Chef John and his wife and General Manager, Carol Scarangella.
